Michele McBain

Osteopath
Brief info

Following my passion in pursuit of health and the holistic harmony within, my approach is applied with gentle, osteopathic cranial techniques and include functional and strain & counter strain techniques, together with Chinese medicine philosophy and acupressure points. My approach particularly suits babies and patients who do no enjoy high velocity manipulation ('osteopathic click').

My interest lies in supporting the body’s innate healing power to optimise health throughout different stages of life. My experience include working with elderlies for their specific needs; adults with sports injuries and work strains; expecting mothers and new mothers with their rapidly changing body structure; growing teenagers, school children to new born babies.

Born in Hong Kong, I grew up with the concept of the interconnection of the equilibrium of body, mind and spirit, and the different stages in life has their specific demands on the body functions and its health.

I gained the degree of Master of Osteopathy in 2014, at the University College of Osteopathy (formerly known as British School of Osteopathy). I further completed a post-graduate course with The Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy and had spent a year practising paediatric osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London.

In my spare time, I am a keen rambler enjoy being close to nature and practise Yoga.

Louise, Eltham,

Dennis is always amazing; on time, lovely space and my neck feels better than it has in years.
